Punch Super Selection x Michel Couvreur Scotch
Punch is one of the few marcas I would buy a box without having previously tried the vitola. I just love their flavor profile and with a few years on them, Punchs are just great. This is a pre-1960 release and it was discontinued 2009. My local b&m just got a 2007 cab of those so I had to try it. I brought it back home to let it sit in the humidor for a while but it kept looking at me every time I lifted the lid.

Public Chicago
I've always had mixed feelings about Ian Schrager's hotels, where for me, style trumped service , and certainly comfort, more often than not.
So it was with slight trepidation that I checked into Schrager’s latest venture, Public Chicago, which opened last fall. A re-do of the fabled Ambassador East, a landmark 1926 building in the city’s Gold Coast neighborhood, Public Chicago, the first of a planned string of hotels, is Schrager’s spin on the recessionary trope of doing more with less. He aims to offer guests just what they need, and nothing they don’t, thereby making rooms more affordable. (They start at $135 a night.) The result, both in the 285-room hotel’s design (by an in-house team led by the architect Anda Andrei, a longtime Schrager associate) and amenities, is surprisingly elegant and refreshingly down-to-earth.

Hipster Traps
Are hipsters animals? We certainly don't think so, but that didn't stop some cheeky street artists from setting up comical "hipster traps" on the sidewalks of New York this past spring. With a can of PBR, some Ray-Bans and a pack of American Spirits, these traps were the perfect way for Gothamites to catch a scenester of their very own.

Museo Subacuático de Arte
In order to raise awareness about the dangers of reef deterioration, Mexico-based British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, has permanently installed over four hundred sculptures in the waters of the Cancún National Marine Park. The project is intended to eventually cover more than 4,520 square feet (420 square meters), which would make it one of the largest and most ambitious underwater attraction in the world. In doing so, Taylor hopes the reefs, which are already stressed by marine pollution, warming waters, and overfishing, can catch a break from the approximately 750,000 tourists who visit local reefs each year.

How to Fillet a Fish
For that sense of accomplishment
1. Cut off the head just behind the gills.
2. Hold the fish by the tail. With the knife blade pointing away from you and across the body of the fish, begin to cut toward the head (or at least where the head used to be). Use the backbone to guide your knife.
3. To take the skin off, begin by holding the fillet by the tail, skin side down.
4. Hold the knife crosswise across the fillet and insert the knife between the skin and the flesh. Don't worry if you don't get this perfect at first.
5. While holding the skin, cut in the direction of where the head used to be.

Founded in 2001 by former record company executive and producer Peter Blachley, former independent record store owner Rich Horowitz and music photographer Henry Diltz, The Morrison Hotel Gallery has quickly grown into today's major brand in fine art music photography.
