Punch Super Selection x Michel Couvreur Scotch
Punch is one of the few marcas I would buy a box without having previously tried the vitola. I just love their flavor profile and with a few years on them, Punchs are just great. This is a pre-1960 release and it was discontinued 2009. My local b&m just got a 2007 cab of those so I had to try it. I brought it back home to let it sit in the humidor for a while but it kept looking at me every time I lifted the lid.

Public Chicago
I've always had mixed feelings about Ian Schrager's hotels, where for me, style trumped service , and certainly comfort, more often than not.
So it was with slight trepidation that I checked into Schrager’s latest venture, Public Chicago, which opened last fall. A re-do of the fabled Ambassador East, a landmark 1926 building in the city’s Gold Coast neighborhood, Public Chicago, the first of a planned string of hotels, is Schrager’s spin on the recessionary trope of doing more with less. He aims to offer guests just what they need, and nothing they don’t, thereby making rooms more affordable. (They start at $135 a night.) The result, both in the 285-room hotel’s design (by an in-house team led by the architect Anda Andrei, a longtime Schrager associate) and amenities, is surprisingly elegant and refreshingly down-to-earth.

Deep in Norway's Sunnmøre fjords is the small village of Fjørå. Over the centuries, local farmers have cleared trails up and down the steep mountainsides. Today, those trails challenge technical mountain bikers who descend to the rocky shore from 1100 metres over sea level. Join Norrøna Ambassadors Alex Mattsson and Armin Beeli thorugh "the west shore" of Norwegian mountain biking.
